A librespot, spotifyd, or hardware receiver only enters Spotify's device list once it has an account, so a speaker plainly visible in the official client is missing from the Web API. Fastpotify now browses mDNS for _spotify-connect._tcp when the device picker opens, lists what it finds, and on request hands over the reusable credential librespot already stores: wrapped in a key derived from the receiver's device id, then encrypted to a key both sides derive from a Diffie-Hellman exchange with the key that receiver published. The receiver logs in, appears in the ordinary device list, and playback moves there. Verified against a real librespot 0.8 receiver on the LAN. The crate is now also a library so diagnostics can reach these internals; examples/connect_probe.rs discovers and connects from the terminal.
