The play triangle was centred by its centroid, so its box sat right of the disc's centre and the mark looked pushed to the right; it also filled only a third of the disc. The triangle is now larger, has softly rounded corners and sits where it looks centred, and the disc has a darker rim, a lit face and a bright edge between them. The website logo, the Linux and Flatpak icon, the macOS icon and the Windows icon carry the new mark, and the window and tray icon drawn at runtime matches them from 48 pixels up. Below that the rim would only blur, so small icons, the Windows 16, 24 and 32 pixel entries and the macOS menu-bar template keep the flat disc with the new triangle.
