It used to open on registering, which is the wrong half for the people most likely to be looking at it: somebody on a new phone, or signed out, who already owns the name they are about to type. Typing it on the registering side answers that the name is taken, which is true and reads as their account being gone. Registering is still one tap away wherever it is offered. Where it is not offered is a private server. An account there comes from an invitation link, and opening the link is what creates it, so every registration the app could send is one the server turns down. The account endpoint now says which of the two a deployment is, and the app drops the choice instead of showing one that cannot be used. The two buttons that open the screen say so as well.
