On macOS the single-instance socket lived under Application Support, a path that runs past the 104 bytes macOS allows a socket once the user name is longer than about 24 characters; a second launch then did nothing and every command failed. The slot now uses fastframe's default there, the user's private temporary directory. v0.4.1 also hands a declined request back at once instead of after a 3 s wait, lets a slot go when its socket can't be bound, moves the tray to tray-icon 0.25 and draws the macOS menu-bar icon at 36 px. The Nix vendor hash follows the lockfile.
